Success!!! It took 6 months to earn his trust, but he has now walked himself into the house and I calmly closed the door. No fussing. He's walking around exploring his new safe environment.
Next is to have him neutered, a cost of $60 and his shots, another $25.
Safe and Healthy new year for him. Now I need a name for the black and white kitty.

We are socializing him now. He was abandoned as a kitten from living with someone.
We all were able to pet his head, neck, back yesterday. He did not appreciate being petted elsewhere or for very long.
He was willing to be nice to the dog and cats, but they wanted to determine who was top cat. He didn't appreciate that either.
He preferred the men petting to the women petting.
